BGMI 1.6 Update Release Date: Popular battle royale game Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) has quickly replaced the currently banned PUBG Mobile in India, competing with bigger titles like Garena Free Fire. Recently released for iOS devices too, BGMI has been receiving updates for both Android and iOS that have been improving various aspects of the new game, as well as fixing bugs related to gameplay. Now, an upcoming update, also referred to as the BGMI 1.6 update, is set to add new weapons, new game modes and other features that will improve gameplay. Here’s what you need to know about the BGMI 1.6 Update Release Date, which is expected to land in the game.

**BGMI 1.6 Update Release Date new features and changes:** With the Battlegrounds Mobile India 1.6 update, Krafton is reportedly bringing back all the older game modes, which means players should have access to eight games modes. Meanwhile, gameplay should be receiving an upgrade, thanks to the addition of a new Show Route feature, that allows users to see other players around them.

As part of the Battlegrounds Mobile India 1.6 update, the developer is bringing a new game mode that will come to Erangel, Livik and Sanhok. Called Flora Menace, the new game mode will bring features like Life Barrier, Dynahex Supply and Zillon Matrix to the game, while adding new weapons as well. Gamers can take advantage of improved vehicles, while training grounds will offer unlimited ammunition, which makes sense as users can better prepare without having to worry about restocking.

**BGMI 1.6 Update Release Date details:** According to Krafton, the upcoming BGMI 1.6 update is expected to land between September 16 and September 19. This means that once the update rolls out, players should be able to take advantage of all the new features, additions and improvements mentioned above, as soon as they see an update on the Google Play Store or the App Store. Users can stay tuned to know more about the upcoming update, and we will update once the BGMI 1.6 update is officially released.
