Check how to get chicken dinner on the map (BGMI) ![Author Photo](https://images.hindustantimes.com/tech/static/revamp/images/png/HTTech-new-circle-logo.png) ### By AKASH DUTTA Battlegrounds Mobile India, the popular online multiplayer battle royale game, released its new Santorini map last week. The map offers an 8 vs 8 team deathmatch (TDM) gameplay. Ever since its launch, it has become one of the more popular maps in the game due to its shorter time and more combat-oriented gameplay. But getting a win in this arena is a bit tricky as normal gameplay rules don’t apply. The fast-paced match favors aggressive style and on-the-go strategies. If you have been struggling to get consistent wins in the Santorini map, do not worry. We have a few tips for you that will make sure that your path to chicken dinner is clear. Read on to find out. The Santorini map in Battleground Mobile India is the largest map in the unranked areas. The unranked area simply means that a win or lose will not affect your overall ranking and the ladder push. So, this map also offers a great way to improve your combat skills and experiment with new strategies to push higher in ranked arenas. The BGMI TDM map is based on the beautiful Santorini islands of Greece and features similar white houses. So let’s see how you can make the most out of the map. ## 1. Pick the right weapon Whether you are aiming for a fast paced close combat game or a sniping styled game, the choice of weapon is crucial. M416 offers a great value for close to medium combat owing to its high damage, low recoil and faster fire rates. On the other hand, if you plan to take the sniping route, go for Kar98 which offers great range. Also read click here. ## 2. Use the map to your advantage The 8 vs 8 TDM mode of the Santorini map is very unique. Make sure to play enough games to familiarize yourself with the map and all of its locations. This will help you in figuring out the best spots for sniping, camping and doing an ambush attack. Make note of frequent paths or entry points that enemies use to get an easy kill in BGMI Santorini map. ## 3. Communicate with teammates Remember, the area is an 8 vs 8 team deathmatch. So, a lot depends on how your team on a whole performs. You can use a discord channel, WhatsApp group voice calls or even Zoom to make sure you are all in sync and are covering each other for the best possible outcome. Communicating will also help you in building the right strategies when you play the ranked games in Battlegrounds Mobile India. ## 4. Use the respawn time hack Every time you respawn, you will be invincible for a couple of seconds. If the opponent team is playing an aggressive game and is close to the respawn areas, use this time wisely to get a kill or two. ## 5. Slide and shoot The slide feature in the TDM mode will help players go prone while moving quickly. This will take the enemies by surprise and make it harder for them to pinpoint the target thereby minimizing the damage. ## 6. Make use of grenades and smoke bombs Throwable weapons are critical in the BGMI Santorini map. Once you know their entry points and common hideouts, you can throw grenades to inflict damage or ambush them with smoke bombs to take them out before they know what happened.
