Call of Duty Mobile: An overview of the new Alcatraz map
One of the biggest highlights of Call of Duty Mobile's Season 11 update is the new Alcatraz map. The second map for battle royale players comes with radical changes compared to traditional mechanics such as redeploys and load-outs. Here is an overview of the map.
Alcatraz is a relatively smaller map in scale. Just like smaller maps in the multiplayer modes, the action picks up faster than usual. The map also features ammo and weapon vending machines with proper marking. It will allow players to better plan out their drops.
Another highlight of the map is that every player enters with a random uncommon Assault Rifle or SMG. Each player has up to five redeploys after death. It means fallen players have more chances at victory until at least one player is alive and the match has not reached to its final collapse.
The Alcatraz comes with multiple classes. Players can choose between Scout, Ninja, Medic, Defender, Smoke Bomber, and Hacker classes.
How to ace Call of Duty Mobile's Alcatraz
According to the Call of Duty Mobile, players must focus on fighting first instead of looting. Players are advised to look around and listen carefully before looting.
Ground loot will become sparser as the battle royale proceeds. Players are recommended to take a stock of vending machine locations in your proximity as the match nears the end.
Players are advised to select their weapons smartly. For instance, SMG and shotguns will come handy in a tighter interior space. You can use long-range weapons if you're on the exterior or spots such as rooftops.
Last but not least, Call of Duty Mobile players are recommended to communicate with each other to win the map.
“Alcatraz is won and lost by those who use their mics and coordinate their efforts, especially when it comes to infiltrating the Cellhouse. Team up with friends or get the random squadmates on the same page using mics, and you'll be well on your way to escaping the island with a well-earned W,” according to CoD Mobile.
