PUBG Mobile’s new secret map to have monster trucks, healing springs
Currently available only to beta players, this map features new vehicles and healing springs
PUBG Mobile told us about taking a break and ‘breaking new ground' a few days ago and that suggested that the devs were all set to drop a new map for players to explore.
While some thought it might be the Karakin map that's been on PUBG's PC version for a while, others speculated that it might be an improved version of the Erangel map - an Erangel 2.0. However, it seems that it might be a whole new map after all.
PUBG Mobile Beta has been updated with a new map which is simply being called the ‘Secret Map' for now. Available only to beta players for now, this new secret map looks quite similar to Call of Duty: Mobile's ‘Isolated Map' and features snow, deserts and forests all in a single map. So far, each of PUBG Mobile's maps have followed a single environmental theme like the freezing, snow-covered Vikendi, Deserts of Miramar or the tropical forests of Sanhok.
This new secret map looks quite vibrant with tall grass and fields of purple flowers and has areas that have not been named yet. There also seems to be some gameplay additions like hot springs in the north-eastern corner of the map that can heal you.
YouTuber and pro-gamer Rollexxx has spotted monster trucks and waterfalls on this secret map as well.
We'll have to wait for this map to be available more publicly to learn more about it, currently, it's only available to beta players. As and when it rolls out more widely, we expect the name of the map to change too.
