Here's when Battlegrounds Mobile India could launch

Krafton began pre-registrations for Battlegrounds Mobile India last week but it is yet to announce the launch date.

PUBG Mobile India is launching as Battlegrounds Mobile India. After months of waiting and anticipation, Krafton finally announced the launch of Battlegrounds Mobile India that is slated to take place soon. It has also started pre-registrations for Battlegrounds Mobile India with exclusive game rewards up for grabs. Krafton is yet to announce the launch date for Battlegrounds Mobile India but a new tip suggests it could happen next month.

According to a tweet by esports Team Solomid coach Abhijeet Andhare, Battlegrounds Mobile India will launch during the third week of June. Andhare first teased saying that he will not reveal the launch date but he will drop a hint on the timeline. According to a report by IGN India citing industry sources, Battlegrounds Mobile India is scheduled to launch on June 18. Since both fall in line we might actually see the game debut on this date.

For now, Android users can pre-register for the game through Google Play Store and also get access to specific rewards. Those who pre-register will get four rewards - the Recon Mask, the Recon Outfit, Celebration Expert Title and 300 AG.

Battlegrounds Mobile India will be based on PUBG Mobile, and a new teaser shared by Krafton showed a map like Erangel. However, it looks like the map will be called 'Erangle' in the Indian version of the game. Battlegrounds Mobile India will also feature different game modes that can be played with squads or one-on-one. The game will have different maps developed using Epic's Unreal Engine 4. The game will also feature India specific in-game events, outfits and features.

Krafton will also release monthly content updates for Battlegrounds Mobile India, and the company has teased “world-class collaborations”. There are tournaments and leagues planned for Battlegrounds Mobile India with the first week of the game slated to feature events and exclusive outfits up for grabs.
