PUBG Mobile India is gone and in its place Krafton is going to launch Battlegrounds Mobile India. This is the much-awaited replacement of popular multiplayer first-person shooter game Playerunknown Battlegrounds Mobile (or PUBG Mobile India) that was banned last year. The company had even opened up preregistrations for the Battlegrounds Mobile India game, which garnered an excellent response. Now updates are flowing strong and many things are being revealed.

When will Battlegrounds Mobile India be launched?

However, one aspect of the game has remained a mystery – the actual launch of the game. Today, Krafton posted another teaser, asking users if they are “missing the chicken dinner”, in a popular reference to the “winner winner chicken dinner” catchphrase from the original PUBG Mobile game. Once again, the company's poster does not mention when the game is likely to be released in the country but states “It's almost time” on the post.

Meanwhile, the post's caption adds to the suspense by stating, “It's almost time. Time for re-building memories, playing with your friends and celebrating with chicken dinner! Are you ready? This is the only thing you need to do on time today!” There is a link to pre-register for the game too. Readers will recollect that pre-registrations for the Battlegrounds Mobile India game had opened last month and the game had garnered over 20 million registrations on the Google Play Store. There is no word on a launch for iOS devices at this point.

Battlegrounds Mobile India has been rumoured to launch as early as this month, with some reports suggesting that the game could launch in the third week of June. Meanwhile, we have reported that the game could launch on June 18, based on another source. The company has been asking users to pre-register so they can take advantage of special rewards for pre-registered users - these include special wearables like a mask, outfits and weapons.

Who will Battlegrounds Mobile India leave a little disappointed?

Interestingly, the company's terms of service contain important points related to minors playing the game. The terms of service of the game state “As a general rule, the Service is accessible for 24 hours a day throughout the whole year,” but add that “If you are under 18 years of age, you will only be able to play the game maximum of 3 hours a day”. This means that minors will be limited from playing the game beyond a certain point.

What are the Battlegrounds Mobile India game permissions required?

Minors will also have to provide their parent's phone numbers and get their consent before they play the game. This is likely to tackle the criticism of the game being too addictive for minors. In addition, the Battlegrounds Mobile India game's terms also state, “If you are under 18 years of age, the maximum daily amount of using our paid service will be 7,000.” This too is likely yet another protection put in place to prevent accidental purchases made by minors while playing the game racking up whopping bills.
