PUBG Mobile India closes in on launch, it’s a registered company now
PUBG Mobile India is a registered company in the country now and this just means one thing - the PUBG Mobile India game should launch soon.
Ever since PUBG Corp announced that there was a India-specific PUBG Mobile India game in the works which would mark the return of the battle royale for fans here - everyone has been waiting with bated breath.
While there are still multiple hurdles that will need to be cleared before the game can officially launch here, including a green signal for the government itself, the process has begun. PUBG Mobile India is not a registered company.
PUBG Corporation, the parent company for PUBG, PUBG Mobile, PUBG Mobile Lite and PUBG Mobile India, has set up its India subsidiary and it is called PUBG Mobile India too.

As per a report in India Today, the company has been registered with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs with a paid-up investment of ₹5 lakhs with a total authorised capital of ₹15 lakhs. The PUBG Mobile India company was registered on November 21 and this is one solid step towards the PUBG Mobile India game launching here soon too.
The registration of the company comes soon after PUBG Corp's Diwali announcements. PUBG Corp had said then that they will be setting up an Indian subsidiary and put in $100 million ( ₹739.72 crores approx) into it.
Here's what we know so far about PUBG Mobile India company
The new company has been registered in Bengaluru and this could be where they set up the PUBG Mobile India headquarters to handle both the company and the new game.
Krafton's head of corporate development, Sean (Hyunil) Sohn has been appointed as one of the two directors of PUBG Mobile India and the other director on board is Kuma Krishnan Iyer. Iyer has served as a director in more than 10 companies, including the likes of Spotify and Accuweather.

What next?
While the directors are named in the company registration, other companies like Airtel, Paytm or Reliance Jio that PUBG Corp was allegedly in talks with for becoming publishers of the game are not named on the registration. This might indicate that PUBG Corp might be looking at going in solo here, but that remains to be seen.
We also need to wait for trailers and official announcements to come in as things move ahead. A download link for the PUBG Mobile India game showed up on the website a few days ago that got people super excited, but sadly, it did not work.
For now, it looks like we just have to wait.
