PUBG Mobile Lite 0.18.0 update with 1st anniversary celebrations rolls out

PUBG Mobile Lite 0.18.0 brings a ton of new additions to the Varenga map. The game is also celebrating its 1st anniversary.

PUBG Mobile Lite has rolled out a new update in celebration of its one-year anniversary. PUBG Mobile Lite 0.18.0 update is now available to download on the Google Play Store.

The new PUBG Mobile Lite update comes with uncovered ruins in the Northwest side of the Varenga map. There are new construction works to the tunnels on the southern mountain range as well. PUBG Mobile Lite has also added new slow-moving cable cars that are spread throughout the Varenga map. This will help players get a bird's eye view of the battlefield.

PUBG Mobile Lite 0.18.0 update also brings two new weapons including the P90 submachine gun which is an Arena-exclusive. There's the MP5K submachine gun which is available in the Classic mode. The Arena mode has also been improved with an integrated vault function and sliding function. There's an added indicator for grenades, and the M16 rifle can now receive stock attachments. Players can also accessorise submachine guns with the same attachments as pistols.

Anniversary celebrations on PUBG Mobile Lite are highlighted with new in-game lobby backgrounds and spawn island. The app icon has also been decorated with the game's first anniversary.

This update also comes with changes to the daily mission system. Popularity rankings have been added to player stats and players can now send gifts from the personal space. There are some display improvements as well such as 3D models of vehicles, parachutes and plane finishes now available in the main lobby, pass page and opening screen. More additions include a new gold redemption feature, special vouchers and an integrated direct cash purchase feature.
