PUBG Mobile reveals launch timeline for Erangel 2.0 map

PUBG Mobile fans waiting for Erangel 2.0 now have an expected timeline for the release.

PUBG Mobile is getting an exclusive map called ‘Livik' soon. This was a surprise since players have been expecting Karakin or Erangel 2.0. PUBG Mobile developers have now shared an update on when players can get to experience one of these maps.

PUBG Mobile developers today shared more details on the new Livik map. Devs talked about what went behind making the map and the kind of experience players can expect. In doing so, they also shared an update on when Erangel 2.0 will release on PUBG Mobile.

“We know it's been a while, but by upgrading and replacing the most favorite map of all time, we have to grind this 2.0 map until it meets our expectations visually and performance-wise. We hope all of the players can adapt to Erangel 2.0 smoothly and please look forward to our patch updates in the second half of 2020. PUBG MOBILE will keep releasing schedule according to PUBG PC's pace,” PUBG Mobile developers said.

PUBG Mobile assured that the devs are working on Karakin and Erangel 2.0 related content. And seeing how much attention Erangel 2.0 has received, it plans to launch the map by the second half of this year. This updated map has already been released in China where PUBG Mobile is known as Game for Peace. The new version of Erangel gives the map a visual overhaul with the landscape and buildings looking more realistic.
