Flipkart partners with Panasonic to launch new home appliances in India

The new line of home appliances are being launched under Flipkart’s MarQ range of home appliances.

Flipkart on Tuesday announced that it had partnered with Panasonic to launch a new line of home appliances including washing machines, air conditioners, and refrigerators in India. The new line of home appliances are being launched under Flipkart's MarQ range of home appliances.

Flipkart said that the newly launched products are designed keeping in view the Indian weather conditions. The company also said that they are designed, engineered, and manufactured completely in the country by Panasonic. The new line has also been designed to be durable and energy-efficient and are equipped with features that deliver great performance.

Flipkart says that the high spin RPM in the washing machines ensures that clothes are dry in quick time and 5 Star BEE rating offers best in class energy efficiency, while the top-load compact cabinet design is ideally suited for the small utility spaces in most Indian homes. The air conditioners, on the other hand, are designed to withstand the vagaries of Indian summers, with an ability to withstand voltage fluctuations in the range of 145v- 285v and work seamlessly in temperatures up to 52 degrees.

Key features include smart sensors in washing machines, turbo chill technology in refrigerators, bluefin technology and 100% copper internals in air conditioners, and Brushless DC Motors in air conditioners and Induction Motors in washing machines among others.
