Sony SRS-RA3000 wireless speaker launched in India: Price and availability

It costs ₹19,990 and it will be available in India via Sony retail stores, Sony’s online shoppe and Amazon India in Black colour variant starting February 24.

Sony on Monday launched its SRS-RA3000 wireless speaker in India. It was first introduced by the company at the Consumer Electronic Show 2021. It costs ₹19,990 and it will be available in India via Sony retail stores, Sony's online shoppe and Amazon India in Black colour variant starting February 24.

As far as the features are concerned, Sony's newly launched SRS-RA3000 wireless speaker measures 146x247x155mm and it weighs 2.5Kgs. It comes with three speakers, two tweeters and two passive radiators.

The new SRS-RA3000 speaker comes with the company's 360 Reality Audio content playback technology, which the company says spreads background music both horizontally and vertically. Sony says that 360 Reality Audio tracks provide the best ambient room-filling experience as they incorporate three-dimensional sound location data, allowing the speaker to analyze the location data within and optimally allocate the sound to the speaker's structure effectively.

It also comes with a feature that analyses each track and automatically plays them at a consistent volume to avoid the inconvenience of constantly picking up the smartphone or remote to adjust the volume after every few tracks.

In addition to all these, Sony's newly launched SRS-RA3000 wireless speaker comes with a bunch of smart features that make it ideal to be used anywhere. For instance, it comes with built-in Chromecast and it is compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa-enabled devices, which enables users to control this wireless speaker with their voices. It is also compatible with Spotify Connect, which enables users to play Spotify directly through their speaker using the Spotify Connect app. In addition to this, this wireless speaker can be coupled with multiple compatible devices for multi-room playback using the Google Home app or Amazon Alexa app.

On the connectivity front, the Sony SRS-RA 3000 speaker features support for Bluetooth technology. It can also be connected to BRAVIA televisions via Bluetooth connection. It also features support for Wi-Fi connectivity. Lastly, users can control their playlist, adjust EQ settings or even turn on/off the Immersive Audio Enhancement simply by using Sony's Music Center app.
