Apple’s M1X-powered Mac Mini delayed till 2022, as per reports
Apple was expected to roll out these new M1X-powered devices soon, but it has now reportedly been pushed back to 2022.
Apple’s next-gen silicon, which might be called the Apple M1X, is currently in the works. The Cupertino-based tech giant has already rolled out the Apple M1 ARM-based chipset that has been used to power the latest range of Mac devices. The next iteration, the M1X is expected to power the newer Mac devices Apple might announce later this year but there seems to be a slight change in plans. Apple has already launched a Mac Mini that’s powered by the M1 chipset, and it plans to launch a new version of the same device with the M1X. This was pegged to launch in a matter of months, but now it reportedly has been delayed.
According to a report shared by @LeaksApplePro on Twitter, the M1X-powered Max min has been delayed to early 2022 for “marketing reasons”. While that reason exactly has not been pointed out, it is possible that Apple might be wanting to focus on the new chipset and the MacBook Pro models this year. The ongoing global chip shortage might also have a role to play in this decision. Earlier reports had mentioned that Apple had plans of launching the Mac Mini in the fourth quarter of 2021, probably by October or November, along with the new MacBook Pro laptops.

Probably to launch it alongside the redesigned MacBook Air in Q1/Q2 2022.
I’ll keep you posted.
The new Apple M1X chipset is expected to have 10 CPU cores and up to 32 GPU cores. The Max Tech YouTube channel predicts a $1,299 ( ₹96,468 approx) for the base model that should come with 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD storage. It is possible that Apple might unveil the new Mac mini along with the new MacBook Pro devices later this year and it could actually launch in the first quarter of next year along with the updated MacBook Air devices. We’ll have to wait to find out more.
For now, Apple is prepping to launch the much-awaited iPhone 13 series by next month, hopefully. Along with the Apple Watch Series 7. Apple's last year's iPhone 12 series' launch was pushed back to October due to the pandemic, lockdowns, and supply chain issues, but the company is expected to stick to it's usual September launch timeline this year.
