Apple iPhone 11 was the most shipped smartphone in 2020: Report
The second handset in the list was the iPhone SE (2020) with 24.2 million units shipped at an average selling price of $451 (roughly ₹32,700).
Apple's iPhone 11 has been one of the most popular handsets along with iPhone XR in the past couple of years. However, according to a new report by GizmoChina, citing data from market research firm Omdia, it has been mentioned that the iPhone 11 was the most shipped smartphone in 2020.
As per the report, Apple sold around 64.8 million units last year alone. The average selling price or ASP of the handset was $754 (roughly ₹54,700). To recall, the iPhone 11 series was launched back in 2019 at a starting price of $699 (roughly ₹50,700) for the base model that came with 64GB storage.
The second handset in the list was the iPhone SE (2020) with 24.2 million units shipped at an average selling price of $451 (roughly ₹32,700). It has been added that Apple also shipped 3.3 million units of its latest iPhone 12 model at an ASP of $896 (roughly ₹65,000).

On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy A51 saw 32.2 million shipments at an ASP of $269 (roughly ₹19,500) while Galaxy A21s saw 19.4 million units shipment with $192 ASP (roughly ₹14,000).
Xiaomi managed to ship around 15 million units of its Redmi Note 9 Pro smartphone. The device was sold at an ASP $161 (roughly ₹11,1700). At the 10th spot it was Apple again with its latest iPhone 12 Mini handset. The company shipped 14.8 million units at an ASP of $796 (roughly ₹57,700).

It's worth mentioning that a recent report by Gartner showed that Apple sold around 79.9 million iPhone models in the last quarter of 2020.
