Unfortunately for fans and buyers, the production of both these models has also taken a hit due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions in China which have hugely affected production at Apple's largest iPhone plant in the world, located at the Foxconn factory in Zhengzhou, Central China. The Cupertino-based tech giant's primary producer of its premium flagships is the Foxconn factory in China, leading to a serious shortage of iPhone 14 Pro supply.

Apple previously announced that, “COVID-19 restrictions have temporarily impacted the primary iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max assembly facility located in Zhengzhou, China. The facility is currently operating at significantly reduced capacity. As we have done throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, we are prioritizing the health and safety of the workers in our supply chain.”

Now, violent protests have broken out, according to various reports.

As a result, demand has skyrocketed and customers who were looking to get great deals on the iPhone 14 Pro are likely to be disappointed. In fact, those planning on buying the iPhone 14 Pro will have to face lengthy waiting times.

Those in the US will have to wait at least 5 weeks to get their hands on the iPhone 14 Pro. The Apple Store UK lists the same period too. If you still wish to purchase the iPhone 14 Pro, you can head over to platforms such as Ebay, but bear in mind that you will have to pay over the odds to get your hands on one.
