Samsung is working on a new handset under its Galaxy A-series. Dubbed as the Galaxy A03s, the smartphone is said to be the successor to the Galaxy A02s, which launched in November last year. Ahead of the official launch, most of the details of the Galaxy A03s have now leaked online.

According to 91Mobiles, Samsung Galaxy A03s will feature a USB Type-C port and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The predecessor had a micro USB port and no fingerprint reader. The overall design, however, does not look very different. The phone also has a 3.5mm headphone jack.

As far as specifications go, Samsung Galaxy A03s will sport a 6.5-inch display with a V-shaped cutout to house the selfie camera. The phone will have a 5-megapixel front shooter. At the back, it will come with a triple camera setup. The configuration will be a 13-megapixel primary sensor and two 2-megapixel sensors.

So far, there is no word on the chipset, RAM and battery capacity of the phone.

As mentioned earlier, Samsung Galaxy A03s will succeed the Galaxy A02s handset. The predecessor comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity-V display. An octa-core processor powers the phone. There is 3GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage. It also supports expandable storage up to 1TB via a microSD card.

In the camera department, it has a triple-camera setup on the back. It consists of a 13-megapixel primary camera, 2-megapixel macro sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It has a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies. Galaxy A02s packs a 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support.
