Infinix Zero 5G LEAKS! India price could put it on par with Oppo Reno 6
The Infinix Zero 5G has leaked, and has been confirmed to launch in India soon. The Zero 5G could rival the Oppo Reno 6.
Infinix Zero 5G has LEAKED! The first 5G smartphone from Infinix is said to launch in India soon and based on the leaks, it seems that it will be a midrange 5G smartphone. The Zero 5G could end up borrowing the design from flagship Android phones but could end up with a competitive price. And, it could boast of specifications that may worry Xiaomi and Realme. Infinix is yet to announce anything officially, other than the teasers.
The Infinix Zero 5G could end up as a rival to the recently launched Xiaomi 11i in India but could end up with a much-lower price. Based on the leaks coming from Mysmartprice, the Infinix Zero 5G could be based on the MediaTek Dimensity 900 platform. This is the same chip that powers the Oppo Reno 6. This will also bring support for 5G connectivity, and the leak suggests there will be support for 13 5G bands.

The leak also reveals other interesting aspects about the Zero 5G. The phone is expected to feature a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. A small camera cutout will house the front camera, the details of which is unknow at the moment.
A 5000mAh battery will power the Zero 5G and there will be a 33W fast charging solution present. Infinix is said to launch with Android 11 under its own XOS skin.
Lastly, the Infinix Zero 5G is also said to come with a 48MP main rear camera. It is said that this one could also offer an ultra-wide camera and a telephoto camera. However, there are no details available on these cameras yet.
Along with the specs, the leak also carries some official renders of the of Zero 5G. The phone resembles largely the Oppo Find X3 Pro, which was Oppo's 2021 flagship Android phone. The camera hump rises from the rear with a gradual slope separating the “hump” from the rear panel. It will be available in a glossy black colour as well as a brown colour (the latter appears to be a vegan leather material).
With the Infinix Zero 5G, the company could be looking to go upmarket this year. Homegrown brand Lava tried it last year with the Lava Agni 5G, which was its first 5G smartphone aimed at the midrange segment.
