Infinix Zero 8i with 90Hz display, 33W fast charging launched in India

Infinix has launched a new smartphone in India. Infinix Zero 8i comes with a 90Hz display, a 48-megapixel quad camera, and 33W fast charging support. The smartphone launched in India a little over a month after its debut in Pakistan.

Infinix Zero 8i is priced at 14,999, and it comes in only one variant. The first sale of the Infinix Zero 8i will take place on December 9 at 12 PM. Flipkart has highlighted that this is the introductory price for the Infinix Zero 8i. Its original price is 18,999 as listed on Flipkart. Infinix Zero 8i comes in two colour options of Silver Diamond and Black Diamond. The smartphone has dual punch hole selfie cameras, and a diamond shaped rear camera module.

In terms of specs, Infinix Zero 8i features a 6.85-inch full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek's Helio G90T processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It also has a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 256GB.

Its quad camera setup features a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra wide angle lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor and an AI lens. The dual selfie camera setup is a combination of a 16-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra wide angle lens.

 

Infinix Zero 8i packs a 4,500mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. Its connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, VoWi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port and dual-SIM. The smartphone also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and liquid cooling. On the software front, it runs Android 10 with XOS 7 layered on top.

Infinix has also teased the launch of its first Android smart TV in India. Infinix X1 has slim bezels, and it's supported by two stands on each side. The launch date is yet to be announced.
