Lockscreen

The iOS 16 update overhauls the lockscreen massively. You can now customise the clock widget and even choose some app widgets to be present below it. You can play with portrait style wallpapers and even get active running widgets from apps. The notifications have also been presented in a stacked manner. Plus, you can now save multiple lockscreen styles and choose between them from the lockscreen itself.

Keyboard haptics

This is a blessing. If you type a lot, you will love the iPhone's keyboard now vibrating upon keystrokes. This makes a mega difference when typing texts, or simply doing a Google Search. You just have to enable it from the Settings.

New Spotlight Search

The Spotlight Search has been enhanced and you can now look for more things across apps, files, websites and more. Even the interface looks vastly different this time.

New Notifications

Notifications on the lockscreen and Notification Center are now presented in a stacked manner. All notifications from a single app are now bunched together, making it easier to sort them out.

Copy subject from photos, like Photoshop

With iOS 16 on your iPhone, just go to any photo in the Photos app and long tap on the subject. You will see that your iPhone can cutout the subject and make it available for copying to another app, or text box. The cutouts are professional grade, just like on the Photoshop app. Hence, you can now have your own personal stickers copied from your photos.
