Although the iQOO Neo 6 has recently been launched in India, a new leak has suggested that iQOO may already be working on a successor and could launch the iQOO Neo 7 soon in China. The manufacturer is expected to launch the next smartphone in its Neo lineup in August or September.

The leaked information has been reported by Tipster Digital Chat Station and has mentioned some of the key specifications of the leaked upcoming iQOO Neo 7. According to the leak, the iQOO Neo 7 will not be a budget smartphone but a premium device. The iQOO Neo 6 also launched with some excellent features such as Snapdragon 870 processor and a 120Hz AMOLED display. The iQOO Neo 7 is also expected to follow suit.

Leaked iQOO Neo 7 specifications

According to Tipster Digital Chat Station, the iQOO Neo 7 is likely to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset, which is MediaTek's highest-end Dimensity chipset and an improved version of last year's Dimensity 9000 SoC, paired with up to 12GB of RAM. The smartphone is expected to have a 6.78-inch or a 6.62-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 29:9 aspect ratio.

The iQOO Neo 7 will likely have an in-display fingerprint scanner. The phone is expected to have a triple-camera setup at the back with a 50MP main camera, a 13MP ultrawide camera and a 12MP telephoto portrait camera. The phone will get a 16MP selfie camera in the shape of a punch-hole cutout.

In terms of battery, the iQOO Neo 7 is likely to have a 4700 mAh battery with fast-charging support of up to 120W. According to Digital Chat Station, the smartphone will launch with Origin OS Ocean in China based on Android 12.
