iQOO Z5 reportedly coming to India by September end

iQOO is tipped to be working on its next Z-series smartphone. The iQOO Z5 could be launched in India soon after the China launch. For reference, the device is confirmed to be launched in China on September 23. It is being teased regularly on Weibo in the run up to the event. The latest teaser suggests that the iQOO Z5 may launch in the Indian market soon after. A new report claims that the device will launch in the country by September end. As per a report by GSMArena, the iQOO Z5 is tipped to be launched in India by the end of September. The smartphone is said to be priced under ₹30,000 in India, which is pretty good for a Snapdragon 778G-powered device. It is further touted to be positioned as the "segment's best performance and gaming device." It will succeed the iQOO Z3 that was launched in June this year.
The iQOO Z5 is rumoured to feature a ole-punch display. It could have support for a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR 10, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and DCI-P3 colour gamut. The smartphone could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset. It might be paired with LPDDR5 RAM and offer UFS 3.1 storage.

The landing page is live on Amazon India's website and mobile app. Hitting the ‘Notify Me' button confirms a September launch for the iQOO Z5 in India.
