Micromax IN 1b finally gets a sale date, available in two variants

The device was supposed to go on sale Starting November 26 but that never happened.

Micromax IN 1b, the budget smartphone that launched last month will finally be going on sale starting December 10. The device was supposed to go on sale Starting November 26 but that never happened. However, the device now has a new sale date. You can get the 2GB+32GB variant at ₹6,999 and the 4GB+64GB variant can be purchased at ₹7,999.

IN 1b is one of the two smartphones launched by Micromax as part of the company's big comeback in India. The other phone, IN Note, will be available for a starting price of  ₹10,999.

The smartphone comes with a 6.5-inch mini drop HD+ display with 20:9 aspect ratio and 400 nits brightness.

It runs on MediaTek Helio G35 octa-core processor clocked at 2.3Ghz. As said earlier, the chipset is coupled with up to 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB built-in storage.

The phone comes with two rear cameras featuring 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. On the front, it has an 8-megapixel sensor.

Micromax In 1b runs on a 5,000mAh battery. It is coupled with 10W charging. The phone houses a USB Type-C port.

The delay of IN 1b was unexpected but the firm did give a statement. “We regret to inform you that IN 1b is not going on sale today as planned due to an issue with logistics. Will update you on the new sale date at the earliest,” Micromax said in a statement.

The handset was launched alongside IN Note 1. It features a 6.67-inch full HD+ punch-hole display. It runs on MediaTek Helio G85 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of space. It packs a 48-megapixel AI Quad camera and a 16-megapixel front camera. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for an 18W fast charger.
