Micromax came back last year with the IN Note series and after a year, the IN Note is here. Compared to the previous model, the IN Note 2 is a massive upgrade in many aspects. Micromax has only launched it in a single storage variant, but there are two colour variants available. The IN Note 2 will go on sale on January 30 at 12pm via Flipkart and Micromax's website.

Right now, the only storage variant available with the IN Note 2 is the one with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. You can buy it in Black and Oak colours. As part of the launch offer, the IN Note 2 will be available at a discounted price of Rs. 12,490.

Micromax IN Note 2: What does it offer?

The IN Note 2 offers certain upgrades over the previous generation model. The design is the biggest upgrade from the older model, resembling the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. The rear of the phone has a glass body while the display is protected by a Gorilla Glass 3 panel. The display itself measures 6.4-inches and features a Full HD+ AMOLED panel with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and 550 nits of brightness.

Inside, there's a MediaTek Helio G95 chipset and you get only 4GB RAM as standard. Micromax is currently offering the phone with Android 11 with a stock interface but there's no update on whether and when the phone will get the Android 12 update. A side-mounted fingerprint sensor is present for biometric verification.

When it comes to the cameras, the IN Note 2 features a quad camera setup on the rear, with a 48MP main sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth camera. The front gets a 16MP sensor sitting in a punch-hole cutout.

Lastly, the IN Note relies on a 5000mAh battery that supports 30W fast wired charging. Micromax says that the phone can charge to 50 percent in under 30 minutes.

Given its price, the IN Note 2 goes up against the Motorola Moto G31, Infinix Note 11, Realme 8i and the Samsung Galaxy M21 2021 edition.
