Micromax’s In 1b goes on sale today [Update: sale postponed]

Micromax has postponed the sale of its In 1b smartphone. The phone was slated to go on sale today via micromaxinfo.com and Flipkart.

Update: Micromax has said that it is not hosting the sale of In 1b today. 

“We regret to inform you that IN 1b is not going on sale today as planned due to an issue with logistics. Will update you on the new sale date at the earliest,” the company said in a statement.

Micromax's new In1b will go on the sale for the first time in India today. The phone will be available online through Micromaxinfo.com and Flipkart at 12 noon. In 1b comes in two variants with price starting at ₹6,999 for the 2GB RAM and 32GB storage version. The top-end model with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage is priced at ₹7,999. The phone is available in single Metallic matte finish.

IN 1b is one of the two smartphones launched by Micromax as part of the company's big comeback in India. The other phone, IN Note, will be available for a starting price of ₹10,999.

The smartphone comes with a 6.5-inch mini drop HD+ display with 20:9 aspect ratio and 400 nits brightness.

It runs on MediaTek Helio G35 octa-core processor clocked at 2.3Ghz. As said earlier, the chipset is coupled with up to 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB built-in storage.

The phone comes with two rear cameras featuring 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. On the front, it has an 8-megapixel sensor.

Micromax In 1b runs on a 5,000mAh battery. It is coupled with 10W charging. The phone houses a USB Type-C port.

The Micromax IN Note 1 features a 6.67-inch full HD+ punch-hole display. It runs on MediaTek Helio G85 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of space. It packs a 48-megapixel AI Quad camera and a 16-megapixel front camera. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for an 18W fast charger.
