Moto G200 with Snapdragon 888+ launches; Moto G71, G51, G41 and G31 accompany

The Moto G200 is official as Motorola's latest high-end phone with a Snapdragon 888+ chip. Motorola also announced the G71, G51, G41 and G31.

Motorola has announced a refreshed Moto G lineup ahead of 2022. Similar to the Moto G100 last year, there's a Moto G200 that brings the performance of a high-end phone married to a midrange specs and features. The Moto G200 is relying on the Snapdragon 888+ chip and that's obviously made it pricey. However, those seeking affordable options have other Moto G models to consider.

Alongside the Moto G200, Motorola also announced more affordable alternatives in the form of the Moto G71, Moto G51, Moto G41 and Moto G31. All these phones sit across varied price points with varying specifications. Motorola is yet to officially comment on the Indian availability of these phones.

Moto G gets major generational upgrade

We quickly gloss over all the new Moto G announcements made today.

Moto G200: 

This is the flagship Moto G model with the Snapdragon 888+, 108MP main rear camera, a 6.8-inch LCD display with 144Hz refresh rate, and a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. The phone loses out on a telephoto camera and has a plastic unibody construction. It costs 450 Euros (approx.. ₹38,000)

The more affordable Euro 300 Moto G71 features a Snapdragon 695 chipset, a 6.4-inch FHD+ OLED display, a 50MP+8MP+2MP triple rear camera setup, and a 5000mAh battery with 30W charging. This one is expected to launch in India along with a couple of other global markets.

At Euro 230, the Moto G51 is running on a Snapdragon 480+ chipset, a 6.8-inch FHD+ LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate, a 50MP + 8MP + 2MP triple rear camera setup, a 5000mAh battery and 10W wired charging. This one is also said to come to India.

Moto G41: 

The Moto G41 costs Euro 250 and comes with a 6.4-inch FHD+ OLED display, a MediaTek Helio G85 4G chipset, a 48MP OIS main camera along with 8MP ultrawide camera, a 5000mAh battery with 30W wired charging.

Expected to launch in India, the Moto G31 at Euro 200 features a 6.4-inch OLED FHD+ display, a Helio G85 chipset with up to 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, a 50MP + 8MP rear camera setup, and a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging system.
