Motorola’s Razr 5G goes official with better specifications, design
Motorola’s new Razr 5G comes Snapdragon 765G processor coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB built-in storage. Here’s what’s new in the new foldable phone.
Motorola has officially launched a new foldable phone, Razr 5G. The new smartphone is the successor to the last year’s Moto Razr. The latest version brings better specifications, camera configurations, and design.
Moto Razr 5G is priced at $1,399 ( ₹1,02,600 approximately). The phone comes in Polished Graphite, Blush Gold, and Liquid Mercury.
As said earlier, Motorola has also tweaked the design. The chin is tapered whereas fingerprint sensor has moved to the back. The hinge also has been updated to deliver better aesthetic and functional changes. Motorola in a blog post said that the changes are based on direct consumer feedback.
Moto Razr 5G comes with a 6.2-inch pOLED 21:9 main display and a 2.7-inch pOLED 4:3 secondary display. The smartphone runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB built-in storage.
The latest flip-fold smartphone has a 48-megapixel quad pixel camera with f/1.7 aperture and optical image stabilisation. The front houses a 20-megapixel quad-pixel camera.
Connectivity options on the phone are Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB Type-C support, and dual-SIM. Moto Razr 5G runs on Android 10 out-of-the-box. The phone is powered by a 2,800mAh battery with 15W fast charging support.
Motorola has also improved the software to work better on the foldable phone.
“With My UX, your Razr works the way you want. My UX includes all the great experiences customers have come to know and love as well as a variety of new features, letting users take music, videos, and games to the next level with custom settings and advanced controls. Users can even create their own device themes by choosing from unique fonts, colours, and icon shapes to make their phone one in a million,” said Motorola in a post.
Motorola’s new Razr 5G will be available in China and select European markets later this year. The new Razr will also be available in select markets across, Latin America, the Middle East and the Asia Pacific.
