Oppo Reno 7 series is finally official! The Reno 7 and Reno 7 Pro have launched in India with several upgrades over its popular predecessors, the Reno 6 and Reno 6 Pro. Along with the Reno 7 devices, Oppo has also launched the Watch Free in India and a new colour variant of the Enco M32. The Reno 7 will go on sale from February 17 via Flipkart and Vijay Sales, whereas the Reno 7 Pro will go on sale on February 8. Both devices only come in a single storage variant.

The Reno 7 with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage costs 28,999, while the Reno 7 Pro with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage will set you back by 39,999. Both the models are available in Starlight Blue and Starlight Black colour variants. The Oppo Watch Free is available at a price of Rs. 5,999 whereas the Enco M32 in green colour comes in at a price of Rs. 1,799.

Reno 7, Reno 7 Pro details

The Reno 7 and Reno 7 Pro take over the baton from the Reno 6 series from last year. The Reno 7 Pro gets Oppo's flagship-grade Sony IMX766 sensor for the 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a third 2MP macro camera. There's also a colour temperature sensor on the rear. The Pro variant also gets a 32MP IMX709 image sensor that promises superior selfie quality.

The Reno 7 also has a 32MP front camera but not the same Sony sensor. The rear camera on the vanilla Reno 7 gets a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera.

Another difference between these two is the choice of chipset. The Reno 7 Pro is relying on a Dimensity 1200-MAX chipset whereas the Dimensity 900 powers the standard Reno 7. Both boot with ColorOS 12 out of the box but with Android 11 underneath. Both phones have a 90Hz AMOLED display with 180Hz touch sampling rate but the Reno 7 Pro has a slightly bigger 6.50inch display instead of the 6.4-inch display on the Reno 7.

Both phones have a similar capacity 4500mAh battery with 65W fast wired charging. The difference comes once again with the design – the Reno 7 Pro has got the trendy boxy iPhone 12-like design whereas the Reno 7 looks like any other Oppo/Realme/OnePlus device we have seen in the past.

Oppo Watch Free details

Additionally, the Oppo Watch Free has also been announced alongside the Reno 7 series, The Watch Free can monitor heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, sleep tracking, and smart pairing with Oppo phones. It can track up to 100 sports modes directly. There's a 1.6-inch AMOLED display that relies on a 230mAh battery; with Oppo promising up to 14 days of battery life.
