Phones launching this week: The Redmi Note 11T and the Moto G31 are the biggest launches this week.
Phones launching in India this week: As November comes to an end, India will witness a couple of smartphone launches in the affordable space. After the busy October that saw several potent midrange phones such as the iQOO Z5, Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G, Motorola Edge 20 Pro, and Samsung Galaxy M52 5G, the last few days of November will see just two launches.
Both these smartphones have already been launched in global markets and are now coming to India. One of them belongs to the popular Redmi Note 11 series, where Redmi is bringing the 5G model before the general models come to India. Motorola, on the other hand, is now targeting the affordable end of the market with its popular Moto G models.
Here is a list of the phones that are launching this week.
Redmi Note 11T
The Redmi Note 11T is one of the biggest announcements in the affordable smartphone space in late 2021. Launching on November 30, the Redmi Note 11T is essentially the same phone as the Redmi Note 11 from the global markets. This one brings 5G to the mix along with a couple of key upgrades over its predecessor.
The Redmi Note 11T is expected to feature a Mediatek Dimensity 810 chip, and a 90Hz variable refresh rate IPS LCD display. The phone is expected to feature the 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. A 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging and a pair of stereo speakers complete the package.
Prices? We have no clue but we expect Redmi to maintain a price similar to the Redmi Note 10T, i.e., around ₹14,000 for the base variant.
Moto G31
Motorola is bringing the Moto G31 to India shortly after launching it in Europe. The Moto G31 is supposed to be the new entry-level Moto G model for this year. While the Moto G31 uses the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, it gets a rare AMOLED display that measures 6.4-inches; no fancy high refresh rate though.
Motorola is also offering a 50MP main rear camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera setup as the Redmi note 11T. The phone has a 5000mAh battery but uses the slower 10W charging tech.
