Realme GT 2 prices are announced for India, making it the most affordable Snapdragon 888 phone in India at the moment. Here are all details.

The Realme GT 2 Pro has left us fairly impressed in our full review but it is quite pricey, especially for a Realme. So, Realme being Realme, they now bring a more affordable version of the phone. Calling it the Realme GT 2, dropping the “Pro” drops the price to Rs. 34,999 for the base model. That also means you are getting a couple of watered-down specs and features but the core experience should remain similar. We will be the judges once we present our full review.

Nonetheless, if you are interested in the Realme GT 2, here are the prices and variants. The Realme GT 2 in its base trim gets 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, costing Rs. 34,999. For the variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, the price goes up to Rs. 38,999. The phone will be available in Paper Green, Paper White, and Steel Black colours. Realme will put it on sale during the ‘realme anniversary sale' for customers, with the first sale scheduled to go live starting April 28, 2022 from 12 noon onwards. The phone will be available via realme.com and Flipkart.

Additionally, buyers making the transaction via HDFC Debit and credit cards as well as EMI can geta discount of Rs. 5,000.

Realme GT 2 features at a glance

The Realme GT 2 Pro relies on last year's Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G chipset that provides 25 percent faster CPU performance and 35 percent greater GPU performance over its predecessor. The phone ships with Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12 out of the box. Realme is using a 120Hz Full HD+ resolution AMOLED Display with peak touch sampling rate going up to 1000Hz. There is also a Stainless Steel Vapour Cooling Plus system with 8 layer cooling structure which Realme claims to provide 18°C Peak Reduction of Core Temperature and will provide 20 percent higher efficiency.

When it comes to cameras, the Realme GT 2 gets a triple rear camera, with a 50 MP main camera using the Sony IMX766 image sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera featuring 119° Ultra-wide lens, 50MP main camera, and a 2MP 4CM macro lens. The front camera uses a 16MP sensor.

Lastly, the phone relies on a 5000mAh battery and brings support for 65W fast wired charging mechanism.
