Realme’s new phone under Q series to launch on Oct 13: Report

Realme is working on a new smartphone under Q series, and it may launch as early as October 13.

According to Gizmochina, Realme Q series will debut with features such as 5G connectivity, OLED display, in-screen fingerprint sensor, and 65W fast charging support.

The latest report follows the spotting of two new Realme phones sporting model numbers RMX2173 and Realme RMX2117 on China's certification website TENAA. The former is likely to launch as the new Realme Q phone.

Dubbed Realme Q2, the phone is expected to come with a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED display with full HD+ display and 20:9 aspect ratio. It also supports the in-screen fingerprint sensor.

The smartphone is rumoured to come with 65W fast charging support. It is said to feature a 2.4GHz octa-core processor coupled with 6GB of RAM. Realme Q2 will also be one of the first smartphones from Realme to run Realme UI 2.0.

Other expected features of the phone include quad rear cameras (48-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel). It could come with a 16-megapixel front-facing camera.

Separately, Realme is working on a new smartphone dubbed Realme 7 Pro SE. According to reports, the phone will be part of a new product lineup which will include Buds Wireless Pro, 55-inch 4K TV, Soundbar, Buds Air Pro, Watch S, smart plugs, toothbrush, and a 360-degree smart camera.

As far as the Realme 7 Pro SE goes, it is likely a rebranded Realme 7i which comes with features such as 64-megapixel camera, 5,000mAh battery, and Snapdragon 662 processor.
