Redmi K50i and K50i Pro coming to India

Note that Xiaomi India is yet to announce anything on this front and hence, we suggest you take this with a pinch of salt. If this turns out to be true, then the Redmi K series will make a comeback to India after three years.

Based on the known specs from the Chinese models, the Redmi K50i Pro could come with a 108MP rear camera while the regular Redmi K50i could get a 50MP main camera. Both the Redmi K50i and K50i Pro will come with a 6.6-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 7-step variable refresh rate of upto 144Hz. We saw this kind of a display last on the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro launched in 2020. The phones could also a 16MP front camera. The displays support both DC dimming and Dolby Vision.

The highlight on these phones will be the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset, which will offer the same kind of performance as the Snapdragon 888. Hence, these Redmi K50i models could act a feeder series to the Xiaomi flagships, and rival the Realme and iQOO flagships in this price range.

The Redmi K50i Pro could also get the 120W charging solution with a 4400mAh battery, while the Redmi K50i could have a bigger 5080mAh battery with a slower 67W fast charging.
