Redmi Note 10S launched in India, price starts at 14,999

Redmi Note 10S is the fourth phone in the Redmi Note 10 series, and it comes with a 64MP quad camera, a 5,000mAh battery and a Super AMOLED display.

Xiaomi today launched the Redmi Note 10S smartphone in India. Redmi Note 10S comes with a 64-megapixel quad rear camera, MediaTek's Helio G95 processor, and a 5,000mAh battery.

Redmi Note 10S starts at 14,999 for the base model with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. It also comes with 128GB storage, and this variant is priced at 15,999.

The smartphone comes in three colour options of blue, white and black. The first sale is scheduled to take place on May 18 at 12 noon via mi.com, Amazon India and retail outlets.

In terms of specs, Redmi Note 10S features a 6.43-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 180Hz touch sampling rate, and Gorilla Glass protection on top. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G95 processor. On the software front, Redmi Note 10S runs MIUI 12.5 out of the phone making it the first for a Xiaomi phone in India. Full features of MIUI 12.5 will be available soon via an OTA update.

It has a quad-camera setup featuring an 8-megapixel ultra wide angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, the smartphone sports a 13-megapixel punch-hole camera up front.

The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. More features on the Redmi Note 10S include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm headphone jack, an IR blaster, and Widevine L1 certification for HD video playback on streaming services.
