Redmi Note 10S to launch in India today: How to watch livestream, what to expect

Redmi Note 10S will feature a Super AMOLED display, MediaTek's Helio G95 chipset, a 5,000mAh battery and more.

Xiaomi is launching a new Redmi Note 10 smartphone in India today. Redmi Note 10S will be the fourth phone in the series joining Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max. Xiaomi has scheduled a virtual launch event at 12 pm later today that will be live streamed on the company's YouTube channel.

Xiaomi has been teasing the Redmi Note 10S revealing few details about the phone. Redmi Note 10S is confirmed to feature a 64-megapixel quad-camera setup. The smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G95 processor, and it will feature a Super AMOLED display. Xiaomi has also confirmed that the Redmi Note 10S will pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. More features of the Redmi Note 10S include dual stereo speakers with hi-res audio, Gorilla Glass display protection, IP53 rating for water and dust protection, and MIUI 12.5.

Redmi Note 10S has already made its debut so we already know about the phone's specifications and features. Redmi Note 10S features a 6.43-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) AMOLED hole-punch display. The smartphone comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. In addition to a 64-megapixel primary sensor, the phone also features an 8-megapixel ultra wide angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, the smartphone sports a 13-megapixel front camera.

On the software front, Redmi Note 10S runs Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 out-of-the-box.. Redmi Note 10S also features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and houses a 3.5mm headphone jack.
