Samsung employees love iPhone! Latest mistake on forum makes fans question
Samsung forum employees accidentally put up images of the iPhone as reference devices instead of Samsung Galaxy models.
Everyone loves the iPhone! Consumers love it, Apple itself loves it, and so do rival brands. We have seen the competition copying various aspects of the iPhone, and it all started fiercely with Samsung almost a decade ago. Samsung may now be leading the smartphone space but deep down, its employees still love the iPhone more than its Galaxy smartphones. The proof? Check out the latest Samsung mistake that it did on its Samsung members app – Samsung's community forum.
A Samsung Community Forum Manager posted an image to promote the Samsung One UI themes on the Members app. However, instead of the Samsung Galaxy smartphones, the member used images of the Apple iPhone, complete with its iconic display notch. The person later realised the mistake after other members started trolling the post.
Samsung employees love the iPhone?
Based on the report from PhoneArena, the members who spotted the mistake immediately started asking questions to the moderator. One of them said, "Yes? Did the Galaxy have a notch? The person in charge uses an iPhone, so only the iPhone is visible."
Similarly, a couple of funny comments poured in from various Samsung community members. "Android software on Apple phone haha," mocked another user. "Hmmm, but... the bezels look good, aren't they Apple?," wrote another user. "It seems that there are some Samsung Electronics employees who do not use Samsung phones," added another. “Heh heh heh, his head is Samsung, but his heart is an iPhone,” said one, taking a dig at how Samsung employees still love the iPhone more than its Galaxy smartphones.
However, Samsung was quick to rectify the mistake with a following post. "Hello, this is Galaxy Store. The person in charge made a mistake in the process of modifying the design source file. The banner image will be modified and replaced today. Thank you for your interest in Galaxy service. We will try to provide better service. Thank you," said the post on the Samsung Community page. The banner image was eventually replaced with a picture of a Samsung Galaxy smartphone picture with a pinhole cutout.
This hasn't happened the first time where the iPhone has been involved with some mess-up from another brand. Google's brand ambassador and actress Anushka Sharma was spotted using an iPhone for posting promotional social media posts for the Google Pixel devices.
