Samsung Galaxy A82 spotted on Bluetooth SIG, expected to launch soon

The Galaxy A82 is rumoured to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 or 855+ processor.

Samsung Galaxy A82 appears to be inching closer to the official launch as it has been spotted on the Bluetooth SIG website. The phone had recently made an appearance on the Geekbench benchmarking website.

The Bluetooth listing reveals the phone has 5G support and goes by the model number SM-A826S. According to the listing, Samsung Galaxy A82 comes with Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy.

Older rumours have suggested the handset will come with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855 or 855+ processor. The Snapdragon 855 had launched in 2019 and powered then flagship Android phones such as Redmi K20 Pro and Galaxy Fold. As of now, Qualcomm offers a Snapdragon 888 processor. The recent benchmarking listing revealed the phone has 6GB of RAM and Android 11 out-of-the-box.

Samsung Galaxy A82 is said to be the successor to the popular Galaxy A80. Featuring a rotating camera module, Galaxy A80 had launched in India for 48,000 approximately. You can buy the handset online right now for 30,000 approximately.

Apart from the rotating camera, Galaxy A80 came with features such as Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor. A 3,700mAh battery powered the phone. It had a 25W fast charger.

In the photography department, the handset offered a combination of a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 3D depth sensor. Its camera features are 123-degree photos and videos, Live Focus shots, super slo-mo and 4K UHD video recording.

Samsung Galaxy A80 also came with USB Type-C, an on-screen fingerprint reader and Dolby Atmos. On the software front, Galaxy A80 offered One UI based o Android Pie. Connectivity options on the Galaxy A80 were dual SIM support, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC.
