Samsung Galaxy M31 Prime Edition with 6,000mAh battery to launch in India soon

Samsung will soon launch a new smartphone in India with a 6,000mAh battery. Called Samsung Galaxy M31 Prime Edition, the smartphone is already listed on Amazon India. The handset will be available for a starting price of ₹16,499.
According to the Amazon listing, Galaxy M31 Prime Edition will be available with complimentary three months of Prime membership. It will also have a “one swipe Amazon access.” The Amazon listing has also revealed key specifications of the upcoming phone. Take a look.
First up is the camera. The Galaxy M31 Prime Edition has four sensors on the back – 64-megapixel primary sensor (0.8um, f/1.8), 8-megapixel 123-degree ultra-wide-sensor, 5-megapixel macro sensor, and 5-megapixel depth sensor. The phone comes with a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. It also supports slo-mo, 4K video recording, and AR doodle and AR emoji.

For performance, it relies on Samsung Exynos 9611 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM. It comes in 64GB and 128GB storage options. The 6,000mAh battery is said to deliver up to 21 hours of intent usage time over Wi-Fi, up to 48 hours of talk time/voice call (LTE), up to 26 hours of video playtime, and up to 119 hours of music playtime. The Galaxy M31 Prime Edition also supports 15W Type-C fast charging.
Other key features of the phone include a fingerprint sensor, face unlock, and dual-SIM support.
Samsung has not disclosed the official launch date for the new handset. Other details such as display size and resolution are also not known yet. According to reports, it may go on sale during Amazon's upcoming Great Indian Festival.
