Samsung Galaxy M51 vs Realme X3: Price, display, processor and other specs compared
Here we have made a spec-wise comparison between the Realme X3 and Samsung Galaxy M51. Here’s how they fare on paper.
Samsung has just unveiled its Galaxy M51 mid-range smartphone, which is being touted for the massive 7000mAh battery. Priced at ₹24,999 for the base model, the handset is however, not alone in this segment. One of the competitions is faces in this segment is from the Realme X3 smartphone. The Realme handset is not touted for its battery but for its cameras. So, here we have made a spec-wise comparison between the two. Here's how they fare on paper.
Display
When it comes to the display tech, Samsung Galaxy M51 sports a 6.7-inch sAMOLED Plus Infinity-O screen with FHD+ resolution. The Realme X3 has a 6.6-inch FHD+ screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and 120Hz refresh rate. So while the screen size and resolution are nearly the same, it essentially comes down to sAMOLED vs 120Hz refresh rate.
Processor
The Galaxy M51 is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC, which is a rather powerful processor meant for gaming purposes. Realme X3 brings last year's flagship, the Snapdragon 855+ octa-core processor, which is in-fact better in chipset specs and performance if not the same.

RAM and storage
Samsung Galaxy M51 comes in two RAM and storage variants – 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM while the storage stays the same at 128GB. Realme X3 also comes in the same RAM and storage option. While Realme does mention it has UFS 3.0 storage, it's not clear if Samsung has the same.
Rear camera
When you talk about the camera, the Galaxy M51 has a quad rear camera setup with 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 sensor (f/1.8) + 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens + 5-megapixel macro shooter and a 5-megapixel depth shooter. Realme X3 gives you a 64-megapixel Samsung GW1 camera with 1/1.7 aperture and 20x hybrid zoom + 12-megapixel telephoto lens (f/2.5) + 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens + 2-megapixel macro lens.

Front camera
When it comes to selfies, the M51 has a 32-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.2 lens whereas the Realme X3 has a 16-megapixel Sony IMX 471 sensor (f/2.1) + 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle lens.
Battery
And finally, for the battery, Galaxy M51 is touted for its 7000mAh battery capacity that supports 25W fast charging along with reverse charging as well. Realme X3 has a 4200mAh battery but with a faster 30w Dart Charge tech.
Price
You can get the Galaxy M51 and Realme X3 in 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB versions. These cost ₹24,999/ ₹26,999 for M51 and ₹24,999/ ₹25,999 for Realme X3.
