Samsung Galaxy S20+ BTS edition sells out in 1 hour

Samsung's new Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy Buds+ BTS edition sold out in one hour as pre-orders kicked off today.

BTS editions of the Samsung Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy Buds+ went up for pre-orders today. The response was pretty crazy in Samsung's turf where both products went out of stock in just an hour.

According to a report by Korea Herald, the Galaxy S20+ 5G BTS edition and the Galaxy Buds+ BTS edition were sold out in just an hour of the pre-orders going live. Samsung hasn't revealed though how many units it had available for the new BTS-branded products.

The Galaxy S20+ BTS edition went out of stock in Singapore as well. The 4G variant of the Galaxy S20+ is still available for pre-order. Also in markets like the US and the UK, the Galaxy S20+ BTS edition is still in stock. Pre-orders for these products close on July 5.

Samsung is shipping a special BTS wireless charger along with the Galaxy Buds+ for those who pre-order them. Samsung is also bundling limited edition posters with both the products. The company plans to start shipping from June 29 onwards. Global sales for the new BTS-branded products will take place on July 9.

The Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy Buds+ BTS editions come in purple colour with the K-Pop group's logo and heart iconography. There are exclusive BTS themes that come pre-installed on the smartphone. Rest of the specs remain the same on both the smartphone and the wireless earbuds.

Samsung entered into a partnership with BTS earlier this year. The K-Pop group has appeared in commercials for the Galaxy S20 series.
