Samsung's “leak of the year 2021” phone is about to break cover in India by next week. Just after the global launch, Samsung India has now started taking pre-orders for the Galaxy S21 FE locally. The phone is supposed to go on sale from January 11, 2022. Interested buyers will have to pay a small amount to register the phone for themselves.
Note that Samsung India has still not revealed the prices and the storage variants for the Indian model. Samsung is also yet to reveal the choice of chipset for the Indian model, although some suggest it is the same Exynos 2100 from the Galaxy S21. The Snapdragon 888 version seems to be reserved for the US variant only.
Galaxy S21 FE goes up for pre-orders
Samsung says that in order to pre-order the Galaxy S21 FE, customers can do so by “paying a token amount of ₹999 on Samsung India's e-Store www.samsung.com or Samsung Shop App. Customers can pre-reserve Galaxy S21 FE 5G from January 05 to January 10, 2022.”

The US version relies on the Snapdragon 888 chipset but global variants of the phone will use the Exynos 2100 chip. The phone ships with Android 12 based One UI 4 out of the box.
The Galaxy S21 FE features a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
