Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, S21 Plus camera details revealed

The phone will come with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, a telephoto lens with 10x zoom, a second telephoto lens, a 108-megapixel primary sensor along with LED flash.

Samsung Galaxy S21 series has been in the news for quite some time now. In the past couple of weeks, reports have not only detailed a launch timeline, but they have also detailed the features that the series is expected to come with. Now, a new report has given us a closer look at the cameras of the Galaxy S21 Ultra and the Galaxy S21 Plus smartphones.

As per a video shared by tipster Sakitech on YouTube, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra will come with a quad-rear camera setup that is placed inside a vertically stacked rectangular setup. The phone will come with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, a telephoto lens with 10x zoom, a second telephoto lens, a 108-megapixel primary sensor along with LED flash.

The Galaxy S21 Plus, on the other hand, will come with a triple-rear camera setup that is placed inside a vertically-stacked camera setup. There is an LED flash that is placed outside the camera module towards the right side of the camera setup.

While the video doesn’t reveal details about the front cameras of the two phones, it does say that the Galaxy S21 series will be launched around January 14 and that the series will be priced lower than 2020’s Galaxy S20 series.

A separate report by Ice Universe says that the Galaxy S21 Ultra will come with a 10-megapixel sensor with 3x optical zoom, another 10-megapixel sensor with 10x optical zoom. The phone as per the tipster will come with a 108-megapixel primary sensor.

Besides these, the Galaxy S21 Ultra will come with a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 chipset that is coupled with 12GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space. It is likely to run on Android 11-based One UI 3.0. It will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 45W charging technology.
