Vivo has released the list of the second batch of smartphones that will be receiving the public beta of OriginOS.
The update will be available starting January 25 and will continue until January 27, reports Gizmcohina. The devices that are eligible for the recruitment for the public beta are:
iQoo Neo 855 Racing
iOoo Neo
Vivo X30 Pro
Vivo X30
Vivo Nex 3
Vivo Nex 3 5G
As of now, it is not clear whether the public beta will be available for the eligible handsets outside China.
A quick recap, OriginOS is Vivo's new custom UX that succeeds the Funtouch OS. The update brings a variety of new features including a new UI design.
One of the key new features of the OriginOS is a reimagined widget panel. Appears to be inspired by Apple's, the new skin allows you to build personalised widgets. The widgets come with information from apps such as weather, messages, and so on. There is also something called ‘nano alerts' to show you notification from an app listed in the widgets.
