Vivo V23 series India launch has been confirmed! No launch date yet but design teased.
Vivo V23 has been confirmed for India! In a recent social media post, Vivo India has confirmed launching the Vivo V23 series in India soon. The company has confirmed launching the V23 series on January 5 at 12 pm. Vivo has also officially teased the design of both the phones. The Vivo V23 appears to have a new flat side design similar to the iPhone 13 whereas the Vivo V23 Pro appears to have a curved-edge display.
The teaser image also reveals a few specifications of the V23 series devices. The Vivo V23 appears to have a 64MP main rear camera and is accompanied by two other cameras of unknown sensor details. The phone appears to have a metal frame, which is given by the antenna lines on the frame. Both V23 models appear to have a gold colour variant.
Vivo V23 design, launch confirmed for India
The Vivo V23 Pro image does not reveal much about it, ither than the fact that it will get a curved-edge display. The phone also appears to have a dual selfie camera setup at the front, with both of them encased inside a notch.
Vivo hints at power-packed performance, which may have something to do with new 5G chips. With most phones of late relying on the Snapdragon 778G, one of the models could feature the same. There's also a high chance of the Vivo V23 series to rely on MediaTek's Dimensity platform, although we don't know what chips would Vivo use here.
Previous leaks have suggested the Vivo V23 Pro could feature a 50MP dual selfie camera at the front with Eye Autofocus. It is suggested that the V23 series will be largely based on Vivo S12 series that was recently launched in China. The V23 Pro is also said to be the slimmest smartphone with a curved edge display on the front.
