Vivo is yet to speak anything with regards to the Vivo V23 series but leaks keep coming on. And now, we have the first instance of a specification revelation; this one is related to its front cameras. Similar to the Vivo V20 Pro from late 2020, the Vivo V23 series is expected to get a dual front camera system. It does not mention whether all models will get it or only one of them.

The leak comes courtesy of GSMArena, suggesting that the V23 series will feature the “50MP Eye autofocus dual selfie” camera system. Vivo already has two models in its portfolio that get this dual camera system – the Vivo S12 and Vivo S12 Pro. Combining that with a previously aired ad on TV, it seems that the V23 series will be largely based on these China-exclusive models.

Vivo V23 series leaks

The Vivo V23 promo ad reveals a lot about the design of these smartphones. The standard Vivo V23 is expected to get a boxy design inspired from the current generation iPhone 13. The ad shows flat glossy sides and a triple camera system, flaunting its 64MP main rear camera. And if you didn't notice it already, it comes in a very shiny coat of gold; Sunshine Gold to be specific.

The promo also shows the Vivo V23 Pro with a curved edge display. Vivo claims this to be the slimmest smartphone with a curved edge display, measuring 7.36mm. This one also appears to have a 64MP triple rear camera setup. The dual front cameras will be nesting inside an iPhone 13-like display notch.

There is no mention of the internal specifications such as choice of chipset, battery capacity, charging speeds and other details. However, we can expect the phones to be loosely based on the Vivo S12 series models. There's no mention of whether Vivo is going to bring the V23e and V23e 5G, both of which have already made their way to several markets.
