Vivo Y20T has been launched in India, bringing a new addition to the company's Y series of smartphones. The newly launched device comes with the Snapdragon 662 chipset and 64GB of storage and a triple rear camera setup. Vivo Y20T price has been pegged at ₹15,490. The device also features the company's Extended RAM 2.0 feature that allows users to gain additional virtual memory for intensive tasks. Vivo Y20T price, colours and availability

The Vivo Y20T price is ₹15,490 and it will be sold in a single 6GB/128GB RAM and storage variant. The device will be available in two colour options -- Purist Blue and Obsidian Black. Customers can pick up the smartphone at retail stores starting today, October 11. The smartphone will be sold on Amazon India and Flipkart, Vivo India's E-Store, Flipkart, PayTM and Bajaj Finserv EMI store. 

According to Vivo, customers can also make use of online offers including a no-cost EMI of up to 12 months with Bajaj Finserv. They can also gain an additional ₹500 cashback on the Vivo E-Store. Customers can also avail of a six-month No Cost Exchange on e-commerce platforms like Flipkart, Amazon, Paytm and Tata Cliq, according to Vivo.

Vivo Y20T specifications

The newly launched Vivo Y20T smartphone sports a 6.51-inch 720p HD+ display and has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. The device is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset and comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Vivo is touting its Extended RAM 2.0 feature on the new Y20T smartphone, which will allow users to utilise 1GB of storage on the device as virtual memory, increasing the available memory to 7GB for heavy-duty games and multi-tasking.

On the camera front, the Vivo Y20T comes with a triple rear camera setup, featuring a 13MP primary sensor, a 2MP bokeh camera and a super macro camera for images as close as 4cm from the camera. On the front of the device is a dewdrop notch that houses the 8MP selfie shooter that comes with Aura Screen Light and Portrait Mode software features.

The Vivo Y20T is powered by a 5000mAh battery which can be charged at 18W via Fast Charge support, Vivo also says that the Y20T smartphone also has an AI power-saving technology, which it claims can offer 20 hours of HD movie streaming and 8 hours of resource-intensive games on a full charge. It also offers users the ability to reverse charge their other devices as well. The device comes with FuntouchOS running on top of Android 11 and features the company's Multi Turbo 5.0 for enhanced data and processor speed along with Ultra Game Mode, Esports Mode, 4D Game Vibration, Game Picture-in-Picture features for an improved experience, the company said on Monday.
