Vivo Y32 launched with new Snapdragon 680 chipset, but you won't get it in India

Vivo has launched its first mobile phone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset, Vivo Y 32.

Vivo has launched a new model Vivo Y32 in its Y series with attractive features and a waterdrop-style display notch. The new device features two different cameras at its rear to capture your special moments. The device is the first one to use the recently launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset. The smartphone with its 5000 mAh battery can deliver up to 27 days of stand by time or 18 hours of talk time on a single charge. Know the features, specifications and price of the Vivo Y32

The dual-SIM (Nano) Vivo Y32 supports Android 11 with OriginOS 1.0 on top. The phone features a 6.51-inch HD+ (720x1,600 pixels) display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. Powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 680 SoC, the phone comes with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM which is virtually expandable to 12GB by utilising the built-in storage. The Vivo Y32 has 128 GB of onboard storage giving you ample space to store your pictures, videos, apps and others.

Talking about the camera quality, the phone has a dual rear camera setup that houses a 13-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.2 lens and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.4 lens. For selfies and video chats, the handset features an 8-megapixel selfie camera sensor at the front with an f/1.8 lens.

The phone is fuelled by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging giving you 18 hours of talk time once charged. Additionally, the phone measures 164.26x76.08x8mm and weighs 182 grams. Though it doesn't support 5G networks, the phone offers 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack connectivity. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor that you can use to lock or unlock the device with a single touch.

The phone's 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant has been launched at CNY 1,399 in China i.e, roughly around Rs. 16,700. The phone is available in 2 colour variants - Foggy Night and Harumi Blue colours.

 

As of now, Indian buyers will have to wait a little longer as the phone is expected to arrive here soon.
