Waiting eagerly for your iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro or iPhone 14 Pro Max? You will have to wait THIS long

Disappointingly, Apple has faced a big setback with shipment delays of its newest flagship, the iPhone 14 series. So, if you want to get your hands on an iPhone 14, you might have to wait until the end of October.

The world is still recovering from the semiconductor shortages which occurred due to the halting of production globally during the pandemic. As a result, chips have either seen their prices skyrocket or have a long waiting list. It seems even tech-giants like Apple have suffered due to production shortages. Not just due to chips, the production of iPhone 14 is taking a hit due to shortage of display panels, with Apple's suppliers struggling to meet the demand, according to 9to5Mac.

Apple announced its latest flagship, the iPhone 14 series at its “Far out” event on September 7. Apple announced that the pre-orders of the iPhone would start on September 9 with store availability starting September 16. However, it seems like Apple has hit a stumbling block as pre-order dates slipped from September to late October for many buyers.

The standard iPhone 14 has been the least affected by delays with delivery dates sometime between September 23 and September 28, followed by the iPhone 14 Plus for which an October 8 delivery date was promised. The iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max have been affected the most with delivery dates ranging from October 11 to October 22.

Adding to their troubles is the issue with the Apple online store. Buyers are facing various issues while making purchases and placing orders. Several buyers have reported an “error” message popping up while completing the check-out.
