It can be known that the Apple iPhone 14 series is expected to launch in mid September. Though nothing has been announced officially by Apple, several leaks and reports suggest that the iPhone 14 Pro models are going to be more feature rich. From design, chipset, cameras to battery, everything gets an update. If you have an for iPhone 14 Pro- here is all we know so far about it via the leaks, rumours, and updates.

iPhone 14 Pro: Expected launch date, price

According to the rumours, September 13 is the expected date on which the iPhone 14 series is going to launch. Coming to the price tag which will be attached with the iPhones, out of the 4, 3 are expected to get a price hike. The iPhone 14 Pro is expected to start at $1,099, which is a $100 hike over the $999 iPhone 13 Pro. And the iPhone 14 Pro Max may hit $1,199. The price detail has been tipped by a tipster, LeaksApplePro.

    iPhone 14 Pro: Design

According to the information provided by tipster Jon Prosser iPhone 14 Pro is expected to get a trio of cameras flush on its back. However, the phone is also said to be looking similar to iPhone 13 Pro. iPhone 14 Pro is likely to get even a bigger raised camera array and will also be 0.2mm thicker than the iPhone 13 counterparts. The upcoming model may also get a bigger camera module in order to house a 48MP camera. Another major change that you will be able to observe in iPhone 14 Pro compared to the iPhone 13 counterpart is the removal of the display notch. Apple is expected to offer a pill-shaped cutout for Face ID along with a punch hole. Also Read: MacBook Air M2, M1 models get BIG price cut on Apple website, Plus FREE AirPods

    iPhone 14 Pro: Display

iPhone 14 Pro is expected to get an always-on display. The phone will be able to display notifications and content, like time and date, on a display without needing to wake the phone up. iOS 16 is introducing the ability to add widgets to the iPhone's lock screen, among other features. Meanwhile, the standard iPhone 14 models are tipped to get a 90Hz display. According to the leaks, the iPhone 14 Pro will get a 6.1-inch display and the iPhone 14 Pro Max will come with the 6.7-inch display of its predecessor. According to a rumor from Ross Young, the iPhone 14 Pro could increase in size from 6.06 inches to 6.12 inches, and the iPhone 14 Pro Max from 6.68 to 6.69 inches.

    iPhone 14 Pro: Cameras

Not much changes are expected in the number of cameras in the iPhone 14 Pro, as the Pro phones are tipped to stick with the standard combo of a main, ultrawide and telephoto array. The iPhone 14 Pro tipped to get a 48MP main camera, which could finally make a change from the 12MP cameras Apple has used for years. But a regular Apple tipster has informed me that the standard iPhone 14 models will stick with 12MP cameras, with only the Pro models expected to get a 48MP main camera. It is expected to see the A16 Bionic chip in the iPhone 14 Pro series, with improved performance across the board according to alleged benchmarks. Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has said that only the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max will get the A16 Bionic, claiming the iPhone 14 will stick with the A15 chip.

    iPhone 14 Pro: USB-C

Apple is expected to bring the USB-C port route with the iPhone 14 Pro. However, more recent rumors claim that Apple will stick with Lightning over USB-C but switch to updated Lightning ports with faster USB 3.0 data transfer. That comes as the EU moves closer to making USB-C the standard charger for portable devices like the phones, according to a report by tomsguide. Ming-Chi Kuo predicts that Apple will switch the iPhone to USB-C, but not until late 2023.

Meanwhile, another tipster @VNchocoTaco has informed us about the battery capacity the iPhone 14 models will be having.
