Vivo expanded its Y-series smartphone category with the launch of another budget smartphone, the Vivo Y01 in India. Vivo Y01 comes with some notable features such as reverse charging, a 5000mAh battery, HD+ display with eye-protection mode, and many more. Vivo launched this Y-series smartphone under Rs. 10,000 segment. Vivo Y01 is packed with an array of awesome features, which promises to ensure a smooth experience at an affordable price. Vivo Y01 comes with a 6.51-inch HD+ Halo Full View Display with 720x1600 pixel resolution and the Eye Protection Mode. It has a sleek design that features a 8.28 mm thin body. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 processor and Multi-Turbo 3.0, which comes with a 2 GB RAM and 32 GB storage that runs Android 11 Go Edition of the operating system topped with the company's own layer of FunTouch OS 11.1. Additionally, the entry-level smartphone packs a Triple Card Slot option for users which can support memory extension up to 1TB via memory card.

Vivo Y01 is backed by a large 5000 mAh battery. The smartphone has Multi Turbo 3.0 feature and has been specially engineered to prioritize the internal storage when multiple applications are running simultaneously to offer a smooth experience. For photography, it sports an 8MP main camera at the back while in front it features a 5 MP selfie camera with features such as time lapse, face beauty, and more. For security, the Y01 is equipped with Face Wake feature that helps to unlock the phone with face recognition.
