As we are moving towards the expected date of the Apple Spring event which is rumoured to be scheduled on March 8, 2022, the leaks around one of the most affordable iPhones series are flooding the internet. From its design, features to price, we have a lot on the table to talk about the regarding the new iPhone SE 3- the affordable range of the iPhone series. Apple hasn't upgraded its entry-level iPhone SE for two years now, and the last one was launched back in 2020, which was the 4G model starting at $399. In comparison, the iPhone 12 Mini price is $599 for the basic model. But this latest leak around iPhone SE 3 price reveals that it will be the cheapest!

The latest rumour suggests that the 5G supported iPhone SE 3 price could start at just $300 (approx Rs. 23,000), which will be half that of the cheapest 5G Apple smartphone, which is iPhone 12 mini. This should come as a pleasant surprise for iPhone fans as the iPhone SE 3 is rumoured to feature a new A15 chip, better battery life, and of course 5G support from its predecessor which raised the expectation of a higher price from it. The report comes from Investor's Business Daily quoting the Loop Capital Markets analyst John Donovan. Though, Wedbush Securities analyst Daniel Ives still thinks that Apple will keep the iPhone SE 3 price tag around $399.

The lower prices for the next iPhone SE 2022 seems like the intent by Apple to expand its business to a wider audience that craves an affordable iPhone. Even in December 2021, JPMorgan analysts speculated that Apple was planning to bring a new smartphone to get billions of Android users to switch to Apple iPhone. Apple iPhone SE 3 expected specifications

As per the leak reports and rumours, the iPhone SE 3 (2022) is expected to sport the 5G Apple A15 Bionic chipset which is also used in the latest iPhone 13 series - iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max. Well, looking at the design, it is expected to remain the same as its predecessor iPhone SE 2020 with a glass front and back with an aluminium chassis. In optics, it is expected to feature a single camera setup of a 12MP camera sensor as well as an external X60M 5G baseband chip for better photography.
