Xiaomi has been teasing the launch of its Redmi Note 10 smartphone since quite some time. It has not just revealed the India launch date, which is March 4, but has also confirmed the arrival of a 108-megapixel primary rear camera. This will also make it the first in the series to come with this camera spec in an ‘affordable' price tag. The company has also confirmed 120Hz refresh rate screen. However, today the company's global vice president and managing director of Xiaomi India, Manu Kumar Jain, confirmed another piece of information about the device - Super AMOLED panel. The firm touts this too, as a first ever in Redmi Note series.

A few days ago, Jain also tweeted an image of him holding the retail box of the smartphone. The retail box confirms a punch-hole display, and a new rear camera design which we've already seen in leaks. The smartphone is also sporting a bright orange colour.

However, the specs and features might change with the variants. Redmi Note 9 series is expected to include three variants - Redmi Note 9, Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max. It is worth mentioning that the much-touted 108-megapixel camera might just be on the Pro Max model.

Not sure which
mobile to buy?

As per the previous rumours, Redmi Note 9 may feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 768 processor paired with up to 6GB of RAM. The Pro Max model may feature Snapdragon 768G processor with 8GB RAM. Nonetheless, all these are rumours for now and nothing can be confirmed till Xiaomi launches the handset in a couple of days.
