Xiaomi Mi 10i launched in India, features 108-megapixel camera, SD 750G SoC

Xiaomi on Tuesday announced the launch of Mi 10i in India. The new handset joins Xiaomi's Mi 10-series, which currently has Mi 10, Mi 10T, and Mi 10T Pro.

Mi 10i starts at ₹20,999 for the base model with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. Mi 10i with 128GB storage is priced at ₹21,999. Mi 10i also comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, and this variant carries a price tag of ₹23,999. The smartphone comes in three colour options of Pacific Sunrise, Atlantic Blue, and Midnight Black.

Mi 10i is scheduled to go on sale on January 7 for Amazon Prime users, and on open sale on January 8. It will be available on Amazon India, and mi.com as well.

Xiaomi Mi 10i Specifications

Mi 10i measures 165.38 x 76.8 x 9mm and weighs around 214.5 grams. The smartphone comes with a 6.67-inch DoTDisplay with 120Hz Adaptive sync refresh, full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) resolution, NTSC 84%, 15000:01 contrast ratio, and 450 nits of brightness. It is also HDR 10 and HDR 10+ compliant and has the L1 certification. The phone comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on back and front.

In the photography department, Mi 10i has four rear cameras: 108-megapixel primary sensor (Samsung HM2, 1/1.52-inch, 9-in-1 binning, 2.1um Super Pixel, f/1.75 aperture, and 7P lens), 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor (FOV 120-degree, f/2.2 large aperture), 2-megapixel macro sensor, and 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, it has 16-megapixel selfie camera.

For performance, Mi 10i uses Qualcomm's Snapdragon 750G processor, which comes with Qualcomm Kyro 570 cores. It is based on the 8nm process. It also has X52 5G modem for the 5G connectivity. The chipset is coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage. A 4,820mAh battery powers the phone. It also ships with a 33W fast charger in the box.

Other features are IP53 rating for splash proof, dual-stereo speakers, 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C support, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, IR sensor and MIUI 12.
